Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy is a 16 year old American who was born in Miami Florida. The child of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former bank executive, as well as Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, is Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father is an Argentine who is of Scottish and English descent. Her mother's ancestry is Spanish as well as English. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five children from her father's prior marriage. The family was at Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria part in London. Taylor-Joy said that the move had been difficult and that she was unable to go back to school in English because she hoped to go back to Argentina. Hill House was the new school she had to attend after switching from Northlands. After that, she was enrolled at Queen's Gate School, where she took dance classes and appeared in plays. When she was 16, she quit school in order to take on acting as a profession. Taylor-Joy had a destiny to become an actress at a young age. The realization of her dreams came when Sarah Doukas, the founder of Storm Management offered her a modelling job.
