She has parents Gillian Kenney, a criminal defense attorney, and Kevin Kenney, a sports writer who formerly wrote in the New York Post and now has a job at Fox Sports. Emma Kenney's birthplace is the same as her Shameless co star Emmy Rossum. The actress was born in Manhattan, Kenney, 19 has a role as sassy mother Debbie on the acclaimed Showtime TV series Shameless. She actually lived her early years living in New York's Garden State. Kenney was also famous for her role as Darlene Gilbert's (Sara Gilbert), Harris' daughter in the Roseanne revival.
